What is a kids portion size?

Kids portion sizes are different from adults portion sizes. Kids need to eat smaller serving sizes compared to adults because they have smaller bodies and less energy and nutrition is required compared to an adult.
A healthy portion size is simply how much food you should be consuming. Everybody is different because we all do various levels of exercise and eat different types of food everyday. Here is a guide of what portion sizes look like for you to work out what a serving should look like.
Your teacher should have an example of each (baseball, tennis ball, computer mouse, egg, deck of cards and a ping pong ball) for you to see the size of portions.
